While SEMIRAMIS is implemented as a trans-national pilot, its main focus is the exchange of data across organisations, addressing mobility both within and between national borders.
SEMIRAMIS unites different communities:
- users whose primary need is to make personal data accessible to organisations across Europe, usually linked to their mobility (students studying abroad, citizens moving to another country etc.);
- private and public organisations, ranging from universities, public administrations, telecom operators etc, whose primary need is to support citizen mobility by facilitating their arrival in a new country, ensuring that they benefit from the same or improved level of services abroad than at home;
- identification providers, whose role is to guarantee the credentials of a citizen based on the criteria used originally and at destination.
